Self-control is a fruit of the Spirit that comes from abiding in Christ. On Day 6 of The Stand for Revival, we take a stand for self-control, remembering that “The Spirit of God does not make us timid but gives us power, love, and self-discipline” (2 Timothy 1:7).
Let us boldly profess our faith while staying away from the acts of the flesh so the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, kindness, and self-control—may shine in our lives (Galatians 5:22).
Father God, help us to be led by Your Spirit, have sound minds, and stand firm for self-control. Comment “I will stand firm for self-control” if you’re ready to live by the Spirit today!
